===== Gateway=====

A gateway is a route from one network to a network of the next level. In the Soihtu network, it means a route to a university server from which, in turn, there is a route to a [[en:funet|FUNET]] server and through that to foreign networks. Without a route, a computer outside of the network can only communicate with computers in the same network.
