====== 2024-10-09 Nameserver change ======

The university has changed the configuration of its data network (mainly name service settings), and the new configuration normally comes automatically to devices registered in the Soihtu network (DHCP protocol). The university has provided a list of devices that are not yet compatible with the university's network configuration. The following notice has been sent to these users by e-mail on October 9, 2024. The old nameserver will be closed on October 15, 2024.


====== Incorrectly configured device in the Soihtu Broadband network ======


The university has changed the configuration of its data network (mainly name service settings), and the new configuration normally comes automatically to devices registered in the Soihtu network (DHCP protocol). Please check the network settings of your device registered to the Soihtu network. Sometimes just restarting helps. The old settings will no longer work after October 10th.

====== Virheellisesti konfiguroitu laite Soihdun laajakaistaverkossa ======


Yliopisto on muuttanut tietoverkkonsa konfiguraatiota (lähinnä nimipalveluasetukset), ja uusi konfiguraatio tulee normaalisti automaattisesti Soihdun verkkoon rekisteröityihin laitteisiin (DHCP-protokolla). Yliopisto on toimittanut luettelon laitteista, jotka eivät ole vielä yliopiston verkkokonfiguraation mukaisia.

Tarkistathan Soihdun verkkoon rekisteröidyn laitteesi verkkoasetukset. Joskus pelkkä uudelleenkäynnistys auttaa. Vanhat asetukset eivät toimi enää 10. lokakuuta jälkeen.
