More information about the IP addresses of the Soihtu network can be found on the 'Network Settings' page.
Each computer connected to the network requires its own IP address. The IP address works online in the same way as a regular address works in everyday life, i.e. it shows where one is located. In everyday life, the address usually refers to a property, whereas online the address always refers to a certain computer.
A part of information networks’ activity is the fact that the computers send data packets to each other. With the help of IP addresses, these packets then know how to get to the recipient, which enables the working of the networked/wired world. The IP addresses are shared to the computers by the DHCP server.
