Proxy Server

The proxy server is a server made for storing web pages. Its purpose is to bring websites closer to their users, so that they will load faster. On the other hand, if the proxy server is slow, the sites might also load more slowly than they would if they were directly sought from the target. In the Student Village, it is recommended to use the University Proxy Server. The communications that run through it are not counted as part of the data transfer quota.
